About Us

John (Jack) A. McCole is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in North Carolina. He graduated Drexel University in 1971 and started his accounting career with Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia. While with Price Waterhouse he served on the audit teams of large publicly held clients like DuPont, Allied Chemical, Hercules and The Franklin Mint.

After leaving Price Waterhouse as an audit manager in 1979, Jack has held senior financial management positions with companies in the following industries: manufacturing, computer consulting, health care, real estate development, workers compensation managed care and import/export. In 1995, after relocating to Charlotte, NC, Jack started his own public accounting practice serving individual tax clients and small and medium sized business accounting and tax clients.

In addition to his public accounting practice, Jack is the founder of Contractor Business Services, LLC (CBS), an accounting and tax services company specializing in owner/operator trucking companies.

Jack resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Gina. His two children reside in the Charlotte suburbs with families of their own.  When time permits, Jack enjoys playing golf and flying single and multiengine aircraft. Jack is a member of the following professional organizations:
